Membership

Membership is capped at 100 individuals who are committed to building constructive civic alliances for change. Members have unique opportunities to inform themselves and others while being a strong presence in the Richmond community and continue the Club’s service tradition.

The lifeblood of the Club is the work of our committees, which offer members a chance to get to know each other and to work together in small groups studying specific civic issues in depth. The Club regularly publishes its nonpartisan committee studies and distributes them to appropriate decision-makers, so the Club’s research can serve as the catalyst for effective change.

We also host a monthly luncheon program on the first Thursday of each month (except July and August) at 12noon. Programs feature an outstanding line-up of speakers addressing important issues in our region. Guests are always welcome.

Members are asked to attend at least half of the Club meetings and to participate actively in committee work. The annual membership fee is $85.

The Club publishes a monthly newsletter informing members of current issues and upcoming events and speakers.

Anyone wishing to join the Richmond First Club should complete the application form and mail it with their check for dues Payable to:
